Grill 125: Outstanding Satisfaction

You can learn a great deal about a restaurant by the bread they serve - we knew we were in for a treat when we tasted the freshly baked bread infused with asiago cheese - outstanding. That is how things go at Grill 125 at the Radisson Corning, outstanding. The steaks are fantastic, the French onion soup is the best we've tasted, the crab cakes are divine and the wait-staff is a veteran group that knows what they are doing and how to keep a table satisfied. Saturdays at Grill 125 are usually something special and creative and Chocolate Lovers Dessert table was pure chocolate bliss - we enjoyed dipping fresh strawberries and chunks of pineapples in the chocolate fountain, while the chocolate mouse and chocolate covered cheese cake were spectacular. I liked the table so much I pilfered chocolate chips cookies throughout my meal - turns out steak does go really well with cookies!
Recommendations:
Choice Filet - a perfectly cooked 9oz filet that was big and buttery soft, with a shallot-merlot demiglace, roasted rosemary potatoes and seasonal vegetable - the potatoes are perfect for soaking up demiglaze, a bit of heaven on a fork
Tenderloin Tournedo - when this plate came to our table we got excited - it looks good and it tastes as good as it looks - buttery soft tenderloin (again, cooked to perfection) topped with gorgonzola cheese and currant demiglace - Highly Recommended - the potato cakes are crazy good, firm yet moist
Crab Cakes - soft, delicate and moist - fresh lovely crab and red and green peppers - so moist and good it doesn't need the aioli sauce
French Onion Soup - is the perfect combination of beef broth and onion - the cheese is wonderfully browned and is gooey and pulley like the best fondues - Highly Recommended
Chocolate Lovers Night - chocolate lovers rejoice, one Saturday night a month is for you. We loved dipping things into the chocolate - chocolate cookies, chocolate mouse, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered cheese cake, chocolate dipped rod pretzels, chocolate makes everything better!
